Fripp Design and Research's team have years of experience in all areas of product design and industrial design and are able to apply their knowledge to any stage of a product development; from blue sky concept right down to the fine details of complex highly engineered products. Fripp Design and Research's designers use the latest rapid prototyping methods to ensure the best route is taken to develop concepts design even down to using the latest analysis and repair software from Materialise to prepare the file for any technique. Rapid prototyping should be exactly that; rapid, it should quicken the time to market and streamline the product design and product development process. Fripp Design and Research have the capability to prototype design pretty much anything, large or small, designing for most materials utilising technologies such as Viper SLA's, SLS, FDM, CNC, 3D colour prints, extrusions, vac-castings, silicone mouldings and more. Recently a new service has been introduced which we refer to as 'First Stage Prototyping'. By 'First Stage Prototyping' we mean the creation of 3D rendered images of the product, inserted into real world scenarios. This allows our clients' stakeholders to understand the potential of the product design in development. It significantly reduces the time and cost to get your product idea in a format which is as close to the real thing as can be. Fripp Design and Research have invested time and money in promoting and pushing the boundaries of rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing and we see it as taking on an increasing role in the future of product development.
