Raytheon UMass Lowell Research Institute (RURI)

Raytheon Company and UMass Lowell leaders recently dedicated the Raytheon-UMass Lowell Research Institute (RURI), a joint research facility focused on the advancement of innovative technologies including flexible and printed electronics. RURI will serve as a launchpad for collaboration and learning among UMass Lowell faculty and students and Raytheon employees. It will be located in the Mark and Elisia Saab Emerging Technologies and Innovation Center, an $80 million, 84,000-square-foot facility on the UMass Lowell campus that is home to cutting-edge research in science and engineering disciplines.UMass Lowell is a national research university committed to preparing students for work in the real world— solving real problems and helping real people— by providing an affordable, high-quality education.
