Caracol Studio is a design studio, that investigates the new production possibilities derived from a complete access to additive manufacturing technologies. We call this apporach post-industrial design.
Based in Madrid, London and Milan, Factum Arte consists of a team of artists, technicians and conservators dedicated to digital mediation - both in the production of works for contemporary artists and in the production of facsimiles as part of a coherent approach to preservation and dissemination. Bespoke equipment has been designed and software has been written to obtain optimum results in both recording and outputting digital information. Factum Arte’s non-contact methodologies are having a growing impact on the world of conservation and are defining the role facsimiles play in in the protection of our cultural heritage.
A M I N I M A L [ pronounced A-MINI-MAL ] is a philosophy for the direction of Art and Design in the 21st Century. Pertaining to Minimal art, Aminimalism follows some of the underlining principles of Minimalism, yet takes it to another level of simplified complexity. With emerging technology and advanced tools such as computational geometry and 3D printing, design can be created on the same level of attention to aesthetic as well as with intricacy and precision.
GMN - Get Models Now is a design studio that use latest technology both in the design process and in its implementation. We run interdisciplinary projects using CAD modeling, spatial scanners, 3D printing as well as VR (virtual reality). With our own extensive machine park, allowing for CNC machining, laser cutting and large format 3D printing, we are able to quickly make prototypes and fulfill even the most demanding orders. Our studio has one of the largest post-production facilities in Poland, which allows for a wide range of finishing and converting printed objects into ready-to-take final products.
By introducing new design technology to traditional work, we made it easy to get your models now!
Our lab is an experimental playground set up to study and shape the future. It tinkers with craftsmen, scientists and engineers on the many new possibilities of upcoming technology. We want to add cultural meaning to technological progress and show the beauty of how things could work. Our work is very diverse, from experimental furniture and production processes to museum installations, to architecture, film and workshops at universities around the world.
