Anfang Mai 2016 wurde der Verband 3DDruck, Interessenvertretung für 3D-Drucktechnologie in Berlin gegründet. Das Gründungsteam, das aus Kommunikationsexperten, Juristen, Markenfachleuten und professionellen Interessenvertretern besteht, hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die unterschiedlichen Interessen auf dem Gebiet der 3D-Drucktechnologie gegenüber der Politik, der Gesellschaft und den Medien zu vertreten. Es soll denjenigen Unternehmen eine Stimme gegeben werden, die sich im Bereich der Forschung, Entwicklung und Anwendung dieser Technologie engagieren. Dazu gehört aus unserer Sicht auch, die nationalen und internationalen Entwicklungen zu beobachten und im Interesse der Mitglieder in die Diskussion einzubringen.

The 3D Printing Association is an international B2B trade association aims to advance additive manufacturing in Europe. Originally founded in 2013, the association has recently been relaunched in The Hague, NL, to offer a collaborative platform for companies, institutes and organizations to work on common areas of interest like education & development, standards & regulations and PR & marketing.
Rep Rap is an organization but it is first and foremost an open-source community based around 3D printing. Much like other open source hardware communities, such as Arduino, it is based on the a basic 3D printer which can be built and modified by anyone with the sufficient technical abilities. Rep Rap 3D printers are mainly based on basic FMD processes but also include some machines suited for resin based and powder based 3D printing.

To accomplish its mission, the Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine International Society brings together the international community of persons engaged or interested in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and promotes education and research within the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine through regular meetings, publications and other forms of communication. The international Association for Robots in Architecture is originally a spin off association of Vienna University of Technology. Its goal is to make industrial robots accessible for the creative industry, artists, designers and architects, by sharing ideas, research results and technological developments.
Founded in December 2010 by Sigrid Brell-Cokcan and Johannes Braumann, robots in architecture is an open platform for everybody interested in the creative use of and innovative fabrication with industrial robots.
Robots in Architecture is engaged in applied research, soft- and hardware development, “robot pedagogics” – and in the question: how soon will robots revolutionize architecture?
We pursue the association’s goal by offering workshops and holding lectures at international conferences, schools, and universities, and by maintaining the Robots in Architecture homepage, which serves as a hub for all things robotic in architecture, art, and design.
In 2011, Robots in Architecture presented KUKA|prc, a plugin for Grasshopper that for the first time enables robot control from within architectural software. It is continuously updated with new features and freely available for Robots in Architecture members.
