Begonnen hat unsere Firmengeschichte am 1.4.1992 mit der Idee, lasergeschnittene SMD - Schablonen selbst herzustellen. Die beiden Laserspezialisten Kleemann und Englmaier konzipierten dazu eine Laserschneidanlage mit einem gepulsten 50 Watt-Laser. Gleichzeitig wurde von ihnen eine Software für die Datenaufbereitung programmiert und der gesamte Herstellungsprozess inklusive der CNC-gesteuerten Nachbearbeitungsmaschine entwickelt. So entstanden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Fujitsu Augsburg (ehemals Siemens Augsburg) die ersten in Deutschland lasergeschnittenen SMD-Schablonen.
Das erste Lasersystem wurde so flexibel ausgelegt, dass auch andere und vor allem dickere Bleche bearbeitet werden konnten. So wurden ca. 1mm dicke Bleche aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen für die Automobilzulieferer geschnitten.
