Created at the tip of Brittany in 2015 by three designers, Fil & Fab is today the first French company for the regeneration of used fishing nets. These represent 800 tonnes of annual waste on the French coast.

Profile Description

Their volume and the quality of their materials make them a local resource of the future. However, they are burned, buried, or sent abroad. At the epicenter of the problem and less than an hour from 20% of the national deposit, Fil & Fab is positioned as a local alternative to the current situation. In order to reduce incineration and burying the nets by upgrading this raw material. Wire & Fab has been built as the heart of its ecosystem of local players and social. Each stage is present in the Iroise region, with collection provided by our partners, dismantling in collaboration with a social integration company, and recycling in our premises.
