HANNAH’s research focuses on advancing 3d printing and other manufacturing techniques in collaboration with high-tech building industry, addressing subjects of urbanization and mass customized housing design. In a research based design process, HANNAH uses advanced software and digital fabrication tools to develop smarter, more sustainable, and novel architectural solutions. The office is currently constructing a dental clinic in Ladakh, India, which utilizes precast manufacturing techniques for a shippable, lightweight, and modular building system. Recently finished other works include a 3D printed Corbel-Kerf concrete cabin in Ithaca, NY, a 3D printed Guard House in Suzhou, China, as well as a speculative installation on 3D printed Additive Architectural Elements.
