Hyde Additive Technologies is a new business venture for an established manufacturer in the UK aerospace industries. Having recently invested in additive manufacturing, Hyde have been using this technology to promote innovative solutions which have yielded cost savings across the business. These include developing checking fixtures for small detailed parts to masking aids for our treatments facility. We have also used this rapid prototyping technology to produce, to scale, complex parts at RFQ stage to better understand how we would approach machining and how long it would take.

Profile Description

Working with both metallic and non-metallic systems Hyde Additive Technologies developing a cost effective offering in the Aerospace sub contract market.  We have recently been awarded significant R&D funding from NATEP to develop an affordable solution for metallic parts production which we are leading and will be collaborating with HK3D Solutions Ltd.

Combining our Additive Manufacturing solutions with our knowledge and experience in Aircraft design is now offering our customer base a true design and manufacture capability.  We have been able to demonstrate considerable weight saving opportunities on non-critical aircraft parts.
