"R&D Technologies, based in North Kingstown, R.I., was launched by Andrew Coutu in 2000 as a SolidWorks value-added reseller, before transitioning in 2008 to a Stratasys reseller and 3D printing service bureau. It was at that time when Andrew’s son, Justin Coutu, now serving as President, came on to establish the new 3D printing business.R&D Technologies provides professional 3D printing consulting services for all of New England, and is the New England reseller of the full Stratasys Ltd. line of 3D Printers, including fused deposition modeling (FDM), PolyJet, wax deposition modeling (WDM) and other systems. R&D Technologies also offers full service 3D printing for clients across the U.S. via its in-house service bureau offering PolyJet, FDM and Solidscape technology. This enables the company to print and produce the most durable, stable, and versatile conceptual models, functional prototypes, manufacturing tools and end-use parts for every idea and design."
