What is the purpose of this directory?
We created this platform to help both industry and non-industry operators gain a clearer understanding of the types of companies that make up the entire 3D printing industry workflow; from software, to materials, to hardware and to all the primary adopters. It also allows anyone to quickly and easily find up-to-date company contact information, which facilitates communication between different types of companies, to the benefit of the entire industry. In fact, we are using it ourselves to create 3D Printing Media Network, allowing us to connect all local 3D printing media portals throughout the world.
We use revenues from this Directory to finance our editorial website, 3D Printing Media Network, where all industry operators are able to find entirely independent news and information. This is information that can be influenced by thousands of Directory members, all with the same power – after all our most expensive plan is only $250 a year – in other words, a crowd-sourced information portal of sorts. Not only is this beneficial to individual companies, it allows the entire industry to grow organically.
How do I set up my company page/s?
It’s really easy to set up your company page/s. If it’s already listed on the Directory you can claim it, and if not then you can make a new company page. You can find a handy guide with easy to follow instructions on how to set up your company here.
How do I post on the Directory blog?
We’ve made it easy for our members to post on the Directory blog. All you have to do is log in, write the post and submit it to us for approval. We aim to approve posts within 24 hours.
I don’t have time to update my page, can you do it for me?
Yes we can. We offer a page updating service to all our Premium and Featured Plan subscribers. If you’re on one of these plans, all you have to do is send an email to email@example.com with the new information and material you would like us to add for you. If you’re on a Basic Plan you can easily and quickly upgrade to a Premium or Featured Plan at any time.
Is my company already listed?
We keep growing on a daily basis, and with over 3,200 companies present in the Directory chances are your company is already listed. Use the search bar on the Home Page to quickly search for your company. Keep in mind that the search is space sensitive, so you might want to look for the name of your company with and without the spaces between the words and numbers.
I found my company page, how do I claim it?

If my company page already exists, why should I register?
By signing up, companies take complete control of their own company page/s allowing them to ensure everything is exactly as they want it. More importantly it means that we can all be sure that the information found on the Directory is completely up-to-date and relevant.
We then offer our Premium and Featured Plan clients a variety of communication services and consultancy, both directly through the Directory and through our other media projects, to help promote the exciting work they do. What are the differences between the three plans?
We offer three service plans allowing us to cater perfectly to different company needs:
Our Basic Plan is our entry-level plan. It provides a you with basic access to your company page so that you can update their own details. With this plan you can manage a single company page under the single account and it can be listed in a single business category.
The Basic Plan is free.
Our Premium Plan provides you with a full service. It offers everything in the Basic Plan plus:
- Company page can be updated by our team (please see other FAQ).
- You can create up to 3 different company pages under a single account (this can be for different branches, partners or brands/product lines).
- Each of those companies can be listed in up to 3 different business categories.
- You have access to additional communication services (details in other FAQ)
The Premium Plan is $10/month or $100/year.
Our Featured Plan is our top plan and it provides everything in the Premium Plan plus:
- Your company profile will be highlighted in the Featured Companies section throughout the Directory website.
- Your company will come up first in category searches.
- You can create up to 10 different company pages under a single account (this can be for different branches, partners or brands/product lines).
- Each of these companies can be listed in up to 5 different business categories.
The Featured Plan is $25/month or $250/year.
What does the Premium Plan offer over the Basic Plan?
The Premium Plan gives you two major advantages over the Basic Plan:
One is that you will be able to access our additional communication services (creation, editing and or translation of English language press releases and industry newsletters to over 5,000 industry contacts).
The second is that you won’t have to worry about your page. Our team will be able to keep your page up to date for you and translate all content into English if requested. If you’re a Premium or Featured client all you need to do is send us the updated information to firstname.lastname@example.org with your company name clearly indicated.
Premium Plan clients are able to register up to 3 companies on the same account. This is particularly useful if you have different branches or different divisions that you would like to keep as separate entities but manage from a single account.
The Premium Plan also enables you to choose up to 3 categories to list each one of your companies in, compared to one category for the Basic Plan subscribers.
Finally, as a Premium client you will be able to post up to 3 articles per month on our editorial website 3D Printing Media Network. These posts will be shared with the entire community and on all our social media pages. If the news is relevant our staff will send it out to over 100 highly selected media contacts both within and beyond the 3D printing industry.

What does the Featured Plan offer over the Basic and Premium Plans?
Featured Plan clients have their companies listed in the Featured Company section on the homepage and the column which appears on all search and category pages of the Directory, as well as in the footer of the homepage.
Our Featured Plan clients are able to register up to 5 companies on the same account. That is particularly useful if you have different branches or different divisions that you would like to keep as separate entities but manage from a single account.
The Featured Plan also enables you to choose up to 5 categories to list each one of your companies in, compared to one category for the Basic Plan and 3 categories for the Premium Plan.
As a Featured Plan client you will be able to post up to 5 articles per month on our editorial website 3D Printing Media Network. These posts will be shared with the entire community and on all our social media pages. If the news is relevant, we will send it to all the industry media contacts in the 3D printing media network.
What additional communication services do you offer?
As 3D printing media experts we offer our Premium and Featured Plan subscribers a series of marketing and communication services. If you’re currently on a Basic Plan, and wish to take advantage of the communication services, it’s quick and easy to upgrade to a Premium or Featured Plan at any time.
Press release support
We can help you create a story (case study, new product launch, company presentation, strategic partnership) and a relative press release document. We will collaborate with you, offering our own media expertise to creating an ideal press release that will increase your chances of publication on both industry and generalist media. Our services include content creation, editing and precise English translations of press releases.

We can then send out the embargoed press release to our growing network of leading industry media platforms. On embargo date we will send out the press release to our direct contacts within the 3D Printing Media Network (in Asia, Germany, UK, USA, Italy, France, Spain and South America, Australia and across different media types) and to over 100 selected generalist media contacts.

If you have an important announcement to make we can also support you by sending out a dedicated newsletter to our highly selected industry professionals and influencers, including Directory listed companies.

We are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our website users and customers.
For a user who subscribes, we request publicly available company information such as name, address, email, phone number, social media accounts. This information is used to create the company page. Billing for the paid accounts is done uniquely through Paypal. If we have trouble processing a subscription request, we will use this information to contact the customer.
You can select between three types of subscription packages. Details and services available with each plan change over time and are illustrated in the FAQs.
We use PayPal to process payments including credit card payments. PayPal does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
