Studio Yonoh and OTHR Present the Perpetuum Calendar

“Embrace timelessness with a calendar that never runs out”. Avaialble on New York City based studio OTHR e-commerce website, the Perpetuum Calendar base is 3D printed by SLS in fabric-like plastic, with 14K gold-plated timepieces. Numbered edition.

Inspired by the architecture of the industrial boom, Perpetuum’s shape is a nod to the “sawtooth” roofs of factories built in the 1920s and 30s. The calendar’s 3D printed fabric base emulates the era’s move towards the synthetic, gracefully guiding an antiquated material into the 21st century.

To function properly, this analog calendar requires human interaction; taking our attention away from the screen and into the physical world.

The production process includes a combination of 3D fabrication and hand finishing. Once you make a purchase, your item is individually produced as soon as possible. Objects in 3D Printed Porcelain will ship in 2 – 3 weeks. Your object will be uniquely numbered to reflect your participation in its creation. The OTHR team will keep you advised of your product’s status from purchase to delivery.

About the designers

Past, present and future collide in Studio Yonoh, founded by Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma in 2006. The two met as young designers; now, their studio captures the vibrant colors of the surrounding city within the workspace’s white walls and clean lines. This minimalism reflects Studio Yonoh’s Scandinavian influences— with, as Clara puts it, a little “Mediterranean daring” mixed in.
